ABOUT
WHO I AM

In 2017, I graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in journalism with an emphasis in strategic communication and a minor in political science from the University of Missouri. After graduation, I was a public relations intern at Weber Shandwick, and then I became an account executive at No Limit Agency, a mid-size public relations firm in Chicago, before deciding to relocate to my hometown of St. Louis, Missouri, in August of 2018. Currently, I'm an account executive at marketing and advertising agency We Are Alexander where I help build, manage, and grow relationships with new and existing clients, including Anheuser-Busch brands Estrella Jalisco and LandShark Lager.

At We Are Alexander, I serve as the primary point of contact for multiple clients and internal creative and production teams. I also report the status of accounts on a regular basis, plan and coordinate account activity, work to understand and communicate client expectations and objectives, and identify and explore new opportunities for my clients and We Are Alexander.

I specialized in media relations at At No Limit Agency, securing hundreds of placements in newspapers, magazines, trade journals, websites and television stations for more than 50 food, commodity, CPG and retail brands. I also wrote articles for 1851 Magazine, the world's largest franchise magazine.

My University of Missouri coursework, including the writing, account management, public relations, research and social media classes I took and the internship experience I gained before graduation prepared me for a successful career in strategic communication. The real-world experience I got by serving as the marketing intern at FleishmanHillard, a communication intern for the University of Missouri Office of Undergraduate Studies, a communication intern for a Missouri gubernatorial campaign and a publications intern at AAA Missouri helped me develop as a team player, writer, speaker and problem solver.
